International Statistical Genetics (ISG) workshop attended by Sameeha Jabir from the Institute for Research and Development

The International Statistical Genetics (ISG) workshop and the Institute for Behavioral Genetics (IBG) funds two to three statistical/behavioral/human genetics researchers from developing countries to attend the ISG workshop each year, through its International Scholar and Cultural Exchange Program (ISCEP). The ISCEP scholars are funded to attend the ISG workshop each year, held in Boulder, Colorado, and to collaborate and consult with researchers at the Institute for Behavioral Genetics at the University of Colorado, Boulder following the workshop. Sameeha Jabir from the IRD was one of the ISCEP scholarship recipipents for the ISG workshop held from March 4- 23rd, 2024. She also gave a talk to the IBG community introducing the state of Twin research in Sri Lanka and described their previous research and future directions.
