Abstract

Introduction & Objectives
Zygosity determination is an essential component in behavioural genetics which uses twins for research.
Although genetic markers are considered gold-standard, questionnaire based methods are preferred in resource poor settings due to cost effectiveness.
The present study examines the validity of an adapted Sinhala version of a zygosity determination questionnaire using a panel of 16 Short Tandem Repeats (STRs).
